Charcoal Grilled Pork Sisig | A Day of Filipino Countryside Cooking
We are a Korean family living in the Philippines enjoying our buhay probinsya life. Today we spent the day doing Filipino countryside cooking and prepared charcoal grilled pork sisig in our dirty kitchen using firewood. The day began with making the fire and slowly grilling the pork face over charcoal. The smoky flavor from the grill made the sisig even more delicious and special. Cooking over fire in the countryside always gives food a unique taste that we truly enjoy. Simple days like this, cooking Filipino food and spending time together in the province, remind us how peaceful and meaningful countryside life can be.
