Foresco Flevo, adjustable pallet sorting line for various pallet sizes

Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) installed an adjustable pallet sorting line at Foresco Flevo(formerly known as Herman de Haan Pallets). This modular and configurable solution allows the sorting of both standard pallets and a full range of CP pallet sizes. With adjustable settings, the line provides maximum flexibility and process efficiency for daily pallet operations. Setup and workflow 1. Efficient pallet sorting with 6 stackers The system includes six PSS stackers, ensuring fast and accurate handling of sorted pallets. Behind the sorting station are two repair workstations, where defective pallets can be repaired. The sorting operator decides whether a pallet is directly stackable or routed for repair. 2. Smart sorting and repair via side feeder Pallets requiring repair are transferred to one stacker and brought to a side feeder. After repair, the pallets are re-introduced into the system and routed to one of the 5 stackers for final sorting and stacking by quality and type. 3. Real-time insight with SCADA monitoring The integrated PSS SCADA system records real-time production and sorting data. Automatic CSV reports provide detailed insight into pallet volumes, repair output and operator performance — a reliable basis for process improvement. 4. Flexible processing of CP pallets Thanks to its adjustable configuration, the line easily handles multiple pallet formats, from CP3 to CP9, meeting the diverse needs of Foresco’s customers.
