The World’s Most Dangerous Lazy River

Today I’m at Ixtapan de la Sal Waterpark in Mexico, home to what might be the most intense lazy river in the world. This river — known as Rio Bravo — has gone insanely viral, racking up 300+ million views across the internet… and after seeing it for myself, I had to come back and experience it again. But if the lazy river is this crazy… what about the rest of the park? This place is completely different from most waterparks. Built around a massive lake, it features a mix of high-speed slides, homemade attractions, and chaotic ride experiences you won’t find anywhere else. In this video, we explore the entire park and take on some of its wildest attractions, including: • Rio Bravo – the viral “lazy river” that feels more like a survival challenge • El Abismo – a 360° looping slide with one of the shortest, most intense loops • Anaconda – a multi-person raft slide with fast drops • La Cobra – a water coaster that actually launches you uphill • Los Rápidos – the longest rapids-style waterslide in Mexico • Homemade terrain slides – rough, fast, and completely different from modern fiberglass slides We even ride a train inside the waterpark, explore areas built around a giant lake, and experience what makes Mexican waterparks so unique compared to the rest of the world. To make things interesting, I also attempted a challenge: Make it through the entire Rio Bravo river without falling off my tube. I travel the world visiting the most unique and extreme waterparks because one day I want to build and design my own waterpark, and every park I visit becomes part of that blueprint.
