The Kings Hall Stoke re-opening and John E Paul I Wanna Know on Decca records Northern Soul TV was created by me to promote all aspects of Northern Soul. The wonderful music, the fun, and friendship you find in the scene, the events, the venues, the dancing, and most of all the people and community that come together ALL OVER THE COUNTRY to enjoy this lifestyle. My name is Ralph I recently retired having reached the landmark age of 65 “what do I do now ?” is the question I asked myself. What do I enjoy the most well that was easy to answer I love to dance and I love to listen to Northern Soul this love of the above started what seems a lifetime ago in the late 60’s when I discovered a small dark and dirty place called THE CATACOMBS for those with really good memories UP THE JUNCTION and the scene was cast that would frame my life. I missed The Wigan Casino and The Mecca which had only just started as the TORCH closed followed quickly by THE CATACOMBS I naturally came to the conclusion that the world was about to end. However, at that very same moment, I met my future wife to be and the world didn't end, in fact, after meeting her on a blind date some 46 years ago we celebrate 43 years married in August. Northern Soul T ha become my passion putting something back with my videos creating memories for people to look back on in future years fondly.
