Tanjung Bungah, Penang | an underrated neighborhood

Let's explore one of my favourite neighborhoods in Penang—Tanjung Bungah. Tucked between George Town and Batu Ferringhi, this central area has such a great balance of sea, hills, and everyday local life. It’s a place where you can go to find quiet beach views, good shopping and amazing hawker stalls. This area feels like a perfect mix of convenience and nature. I love how close everything is here—Straits Quay, Batu Ferringhi sunsets, local wet markets, and hidden food spots.
