Storytime: used to Idolize Gospel ministers......

I Thought I Was Honouring God's Grace... But I Was Idolizing a Gospel Minister There was a time when I believed I was simply celebrating the grace of God upon the lives of gospel ministers. I admired their gifts, listened to their music, and even attended events because I wanted to see them in person. But somewhere along the way, God gently revealed something about my heart that I had completely missed. What I thought was admiration had slowly become idolatry. In this video, I share a personal story about attending a concert because I wanted to meet Minister Mercy Chinwo, and how God used that experience to teach me an important lesson about worship, misplaced affection, and keeping Jesus at the center of our faith. This video is not about criticizing gospel ministers. We should honor those whom God has called and celebrate His grace upon their lives. Rather, this is a testimony of how God lovingly corrected my heart and reminded me that no matter how gifted someone is, Jesus alone deserves our worship and ultimate devotion. If you've ever admired a preacher, worship leader, or Christian influencer, I pray this conversation encourages you to examine your own heart with grace and humility. 🤍 Welcome to Prevailing Hope Helping people find: ✨ Clarity ✨ Identity ✨ Strength through the love of Christ.
