ALLOA - Scottish historical town walk
In Clackmannanshire, about 11 km from Stirling, lies the small yet charming and historically rich town of Alloa, renowned for its ancient landmarks. The town's name comes from a Gaelic phrase meaning "fast water." Alloa was first recorded in 1398 when King Robert III granted the barony to Sir Thomas Erskine. The Erskine family helped develop the settlement and established a local church. One of the town’s most notable features is Alloa Tower, one of Scotland's oldest and largest tower houses. Once the ancestral home of the influential Erskine family, the tower now serves as an architectural monument and a venue for exhibitions, weddings, and cultural events. ............................................................................................................. ✅ Quality Nutrition Supplements: https://ulianahealth.com ............................................................................................................ ✅ Shop unbelievable items for unbeatable prices: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dc7... ........................................................................................................... ✅ Footages download: https://stock.adobe.com/uk/contributo... .......................................................................................................... #historicscotland #scotland #tourist #scotlandwalkingtour
