OBJECTIVE: To explain the concept and practices of fertigation in sugarcane cultivation, highlighting how this technique allows the application of nutrients through irrigation water. This webinar will address the economic and productive advantages of fertigation, as well as best practices for its implementation. MODERATOR: Salomão de Sousa Medeiros (IFPB) – Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and PhD in Water and Environmental Resources from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). Currently, he is a Researcher at the Innovation Hub of the Federal Institute of Paraíba (IFPB). PANELIST: Emídio Cantídio Almeida de Oliveira (UFRPE) – Agronomist from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and PhD in Soil and Plant Nutrition from the Luiz de Queiroz Higher School of Agriculture (ESALQ) of the University of São Paulo (USP).
