These matches were played on: 07/17/26 ///// DECK DESCRIPTION ///// We're testing a brand new card from the Marvel Super Heroes (MTG MSH) set in Legacy! Today we're playing Hex Magic in Legacy Ruby Storm. We're running a true budget list with no Reserved List cards like City of Traitors, keeping the deck accessible while remaining extremely competitive. We win by chaining rituals like Rite of Flame and Seething Song into cost-reducers like Ruby Medallion and Ral, Monsoon Mage, before casting a massive Grapeshot off of a Burning Wish. The addition of Hex Magic is a massive upgrade to the deck. It is comparable to a Red Windfall, allowing us to discard our hand and draw back up, but with the added benefit of being able to cast the exiled cards until the end of our next turn. We also feature Storm of Memories, which lets us recast Hex Magic! We faced a gauntlet of Legacy decks in this league and the deck performed above expectations, showing that you can easily win in Legacy without owning a single piece of the Reserved List.
