Knock Sensor ECU - Knock Detection Demo

Demonstration of the standalone knock sensor ECU (KSC3) from MoviChip -- Get This Product - https://movichip.com -- NOTE: The KSC3 is not a fail-safe/safety device to protect the engine. It is a tool to help optimise ignition timing. When the knock sensor ECU detects knock the LED is illuminated and a 0-5v signal is sent to the engine ECU (optional). LED colour depends on how far above the volume threshold the knock is. Variable 0-5v signal sent to the engine ECU to alert it to knock. 0.9v for lowest breach of volume threshold, 2.3v for higher breach and 4.7v for highest breach. In this demo the signal is being used to pull ignition timing. 0.9v pulls 1 degree of timing, 2.3v 2 degrees and 4.7v pulls 6 degrees of timing. Knock indication period is set a 3 seconds. The KSC3 will illuminate the LED and send the 0-5v engine ECU signal for 3 seconds after the last knock event was detected. Indication period can be set to 0.5 seconds or 3 seconds.
