Dragonetti - Waltz No. 3 (Glöckler / Henle Urtext Edition)
Domenico DRAGONETTI - Waltz No. 3 (from "Twelve Waltzes") Tobias GLÖCKLER - Double Bass (played on a 1776 Double Bass by Michelangelo BERGONZI from Versari Collection, Venice with Dragonetti style bow, ca. 1840.) The charming "Twelve Waltzes" (around 1840) are quite likely the earliest surviving works for double bass solo. They are not only suited for a recital programme but are also perfect encores. Recorded at San Maurizio Church / Music Museum of Venice, Italy on May 30, 2024. You may also scroll through the other 11 Waltzes and look inside the sheet music (button "Look inside"): https://www.henle.de/us/Twelve-Waltze...
