Sangkaan Festival 2024 ( Tandag City) | Bongtud Elementary School

One of the festivals that is being celebrated in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, held every September 9 is the Sangkaan Festival. One part of the festival is the street dancing competition, which highlights a 3-minute dance routine conceptualizing the story of the triumph of the good and righteous over evil. Entries are from different schools all over Tandag City, including elementary, high school and college. Tourist Attraction Sangkaan Festival attracts tourists from different cities and municipalities, including foreigners, because it has a unique street dancing concept. The street dance of each school will be performed in different stations, which will then be rated by a judge in that certain station.
