Run by Miyako Takeya, the store's name comes from Miyako's maiden name, Funakoshi. Her husband also helps out in his spare time. After discovering she has a wheat allergy, Takeya herself trained at a rice flour bread specialty store in Tokyo, and opened her own store in her hometown of Hokkaido. Made with 80% rice flour and 20% wheat gluten, the bread is designed to be easy to eat even for those unfamiliar with rice flour. They also sell bread made with 100% rice flour. ・Rice Ball: Tuna 245 yen / Minced Chicken and Lotus Root 242 yen This popular item is from the restaurant where Takeya trained, and with permission from the restaurant, Funasan Rice Curry also sells it.
