Reviewing the Insta360 Go Ultra action camera after several months of vlogging for my second channel, The Spurt Hole. This clever mini cam can stick to almost anything, to shoot POV video on your travels. Here's my Insta360 Go Ultra verdict for 2026, covering the video quality, different modes and ease of use. While this isn't the most compact of action cameras, you can snap the actual cam section free of the base and attach it to your person. Wearing it on your chest, you can then capture 4K 60FPS footage everywhere you wander, with microSD storage. The Insta360 Go Ultra boasts a large enough sensor to capture respectable night video, as well as AI smarts to clean up low light clips. Using the base, you can enjoy up to three hours of total battery life as well as remote control the Insta360 Go Ultra. This impressive flexibility allows you to get creative for your vlogging experiences. Plus, the built in mics are surprisingly good at picking up your voice even in a noisy crowd. Of course, attaching external mics is a simple case of plug and play. The HUD takes some getting used to and a couple of features such as live streaming are sadly missing from the Insta360 Go Ultra. Also, the base isn't fully water resistant, unlike the camera itself. Still, there's a lot to love here and this action camera will be in my bag for all of my trips in 2026, for capturing hands-off footage on the move.
