Tuerie de Montréal : 30 ans après, les motivations antiféministes reconnues
Thirty years ago, in Canada, the first mass femicide struck Montreal. On December 6, 1989, Marc Lépine, whose real name was Gamil Gharbi, invaded the premises of the École Polytechnique with a semi-automatic weapon and shot 14 women before killing himself. Despite the killer's demands for justice before committing the act, the anti-feminist nature of the killings was ignored. Reporting from Montreal by our correspondent, François Rihouay.
