(Think of this improvisation as the musical manifestation of Louise's story. The gloomy theme in the beginning foreshadows her tragic end. The major version of the theme after that represents the good times she had with the postman. When the first tutti section kicks in, that is when the dear protagonists of the game are fighting Louise in her first form. The quieter and sadder interlude between the first and second tutti sections is my imagination of what Louise would have thought when she was transforming into the second, more powerful and more hideous form.
