#24 Measuring Head Control to the Side-The Muscle Function Scale with 3 Babies: Treating Torticollis
Torticollis is a condition in which a baby's head is "twisted" or turned to the side and tilted to the opposite side. It can also happen in adults but this playlist is dedicated to treating torticollis in babies. I would like to thank Ofelia, Winston, and Bode's family who took time out of their day to allow me to video them. These babies do not have torticollis. I hope you find these videos useful. If you believe your baby has torticollis, consult your doctor and a pediatric physical therapist with experience treating a child with torticollis for a program specifically designed to address your specific child's recommendations. Do not delay. Earlier treatment is predictive of better outcomes and shorter treatment. Here are the clinical guidelines for the treatment of Congenital Muscular Torticollis: https://pediatricapta.org/clinical-pr... Since these videos are presented in progressive order of difficulty, it may be helpful to watch them in order.
