This is a video of the SS Badger Lake Michigan Carferry docking maneuver (on 2013-09-23 @ 1838) in Pere Marquette Lake, Ludington, Michigan. The starboard, bow anchor (7,000 pounds) is dropped while the vessel is slowly headed southeast. The anchor hooks in the lake bed, and the vessel then pivots clockwise 180 degrees and backs into its berth.
