The story takes place primarily in the fictional kingdom of Khura'in. In addition to the main game, a "Special Edition" and limited-quantity/early purchase bonuses were distributed as downloadable content. The iOS and Android versions were released on September 22, 2017. On January 25, 2024, it was released as one of the titles included in "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 456 - Apollo Justice Selection." System Similar to previous titles, the game involves gathering testimonies and evidence in the "Detective Part" and uncovering the truth of the case against prosecutors and witnesses in the "Courtroom Part." Based on these images, Reifa speaks on behalf of the victim, describing the events leading up to their death. This is called a "spirit oracle." In the Klein Kingdom's courtroom, the information obtained through this ritual is treated as valuable. However, in order to perform this ritual, the person performing the oracle must know the victim's "name" and "face." The player must verify whether there are any contradictions between the "memories of the deceased" and Reifa's "oracle," and point out any discrepancies between the five senses—"sight," "hearing," "smell," "touch," and "pain"—reflected in the memories of the deceased. Successfully pointing out contradictions updates the "oracle" to the correct information, but incorrect points result in penalties. Including other collaborative works, this is the first time since *Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney*, and in the entire series, since *The Great Ace Attorney: The Adventures of Naruhodo Ryunosuke*, and in the numbered titles, since *Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations*, that penalties are based on the number of uses. In the Kingdom of Khura'in, the penalty is displayed as a Mitama (spirit), and in Japan, as a lawyer's badge. Synopsis In this work, Naruhodo Ryuichi and Apollo Justice appear as "double protagonists." Naruhodo is the protagonist in the Kingdom of Khura'in, while Apollo Justice is the protagonist in Japan. In the final episode, events occurring in the two countries intersect, and the story unfolds. Chronologically, the story takes place four months after *Ace Attorney 5*. Episode 1: The Stranger of Reversal Phoenix Wright, having arrived in the Kingdom of Khura'in to pick up Mayoi Ayasato who is undergoing training, meets a young tour guide named Bokuto Tourni along the way. Together, they visit the "Geein Temple," where Princess Reifa is performing her "Offering Dance." However, immediately afterward, Bokuto is taken away by the police on suspicion of treason. Without understanding the situation, Phoenix heads to the "Khura'in Grand Court," where he finds a trial taking place without a lawyer—something unthinkable in Japan. Witnessing this, Phoenix impulsively takes the stand and begins defending Bokuto, but the Kingdom charges him with "defense" for doing so.
