This video shows you how to make a non-destructive adapter for your drone battery charge cable enabling connectivity to standard hobby grade chargers. The parts only cost a few dollars--links below. Consumer grade chargers that comes with most drones charge their drone batteries; however, they provides no information about the condition of those packs, the charge rate being used, and they lack the ability to discharge an unused battery. The adapter made in this video takes basic soldering skills and enables you to: 1) Use your standard desktop charger and take advantage of its capabilities to understand the condition of your battery. For example, standard IR measurements can be taken. 2) Use your desktop charger to fully or partially discharge unused batteries to the proper storage voltage. 3) Manually control your charge rate (amperage) according to your understanding of the battery capabilities. PARTS: Use any mains wire capable of supporting your desired charge rate.
