Organ Improvisation Secrets: Baroque Style Inspired by Lewandowski

👉Buy the Small Organ Book by Miłosz Lewandowski: https://sklep.amuz.edu.pl/pl/p/Milosz... 👉Audio recordings:    / @ksiazeczkaorganowa   In this organ improvisation lesson, I show you how to harmonize a Polish Christmas carol and how to develop improvisation ideas in Baroque style. In the first part, we focus on practical harmonization techniques for a traditional Polish Christmas hymn, directly applicable to church playing and liturgical situations. In the second part, we go deeper into improvisation. As a model, I use a chorale prelude by Miłosz Lewandowski – a Polish pianist and improviser who composed 75 chorale preludes and chorale settings for Polish hymns, inspired by the Baroque tradition. This is not Bach’s Orgelbüchlein, but a modern “Orgelbüchlein” in the Baroque style. Using Lewandowski’s chorale prelude “Wśród nocnej ciszy” (“Silent Night in Polish tradition”), I analyze: how Baroque-style ideas are constructed how motives, harmony, and texture work together how you can apply these ideas to your own organ improvisation You will learn how to copy the style intelligently, not by memorizing notes, but by understanding musical principles – so you can create your own Baroque-style preludes and introductions. 🔥 Methods of Learning Classical Improvisation - FREE WEBINAR: https://courses.improstation.com/meth... 👉 Explore piano & organ improvisation courses: https://improstation.com/course/ 📱 Let’s connect! 💙 Facebook @improstation 📸 Instagram @improstation 🎵 Let’s make music together and take your skills to the next level! #PianoImprovisation #OrganImprovisation #ClassicalMusic #LearnMusic #Improstation #MusicTheory #PianoTutorial #OrganTutorial #LearnImprovisation
