Step-by-Step: Remove Front Shocks from Your 2005 Acura TSX

In this video I show you how I removed and disassembled the front shocks on my 2005 Acura TSX. I tried to provide enough information to help someone else complete this job. In this video I used the term "shock" and "damper" interchangeably. I am currently using H&R springs with KYB shocks and I am very happy with this setup. First Generation ACURA TSX OEM Service Manual https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yuT-... The shock diagram shows a flat washer for the dust boot cover and another washer directly on the bump stop. The bump stop washer is a special one that looks different from a regular washer. I do not have either of those specific washers nor do I have the OEM dust boot. I used an aftermarket dust boot. The OEM bump stop is much better than the KYB bump stop, but youll need to buy it from the dealer. Years ago a mechanic installed my Koni shocks without a bump stop leading to some horrible sounding bottoming out of the suspension. So don't forget to install the bump stop!
