The making of a Viking Sunset bowl full version (ish)

My first full length video, mistakes have been made with missing sections where I pressed stop instead of start, but instead of boring you with me eating my dinner I have edited out the errors. Most of the video is four times normal speed with sanding at 8 times. There are plenty of quality inspections from Hamish and he tried to help with the clean up. Over the period of two weekends this Ash bowl recreates a woodturning classic from Nick Agar, this is my interpretation of that bowl. The outside and rim is finished in a hand applied silver gilt highlighting the black imprinted patterns hand stamped in to the wood. The same effect is replicated in the silver disc at the centre of the bowl. the silver gilt gives a metallic look to this wooden bowl. The inside of the bowl is finished in a representation of a sunset, fading from red at the rim down through orange and yellow towards the centre.
