Demo Mahasiswa NTB Memanas, Sempat Terjadi Saling Dorong dengan Aparat

The West Nusa Tenggara Student Alliance held a demonstration in front of the West Nusa Tenggara Governor's Office on Thursday (June 18, 2026). The students conveyed a number of demands, including an evaluation of the Free Nutritional Meals Program (MBG), serious attention to the high number of school dropouts in West Nusa Tenggara, and equitable distribution of infrastructure development across the region. The demonstration was marked by tension and pushing and shoving with security forces before the situation returned to normal. Students also voiced their rejection of militarism in civilian spaces and demanded that the government guarantee the civil rights of the people. Disappointment arose when the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Nusa Tenggara failed to meet with the protesters.
