Harley Davidson Road Glide came in for a consultation on his audio system after getting it installed at another shop . He felt that after all the money he spent on Great equipment the audio should sound better than it did and should have more bass . He was 100 percent correct. The two biggest mistakes that were made on the bike . 1. No dsp So the bike was really really loud but no control of the sound at all. The speakers where just all fighting each other and doing whatever they wanted . 2. They installed midrange 8s in the saddle bags facing the rear wheel instead of mid bass 8s . The wiring was clean and all ofc copper so we where able to keep it . They used a t harness 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💪🏼 So none of the factory Harmess were cut or spliced . We added a dsp and swapped the mid range diamond audio Neo 8s for hertz 200L mid bass 8s We reconfigured the amplifiers to give us more power on the 8s ( 400 watts each instead of 135 watts each ) We rta tuned the bike and it sounded perfect. Client was super pleased. After he saw that we were able to deliver everything we promised He took our recommendations and upgraded to a Braille lithium battery Water was a concern for the lid speakers ( diamond audio mp694 are not weather proof because of the horn in the center ) so we swapped them for a weather proof set of hertz 690 neos to give him peace of mind in case he gets caught in the rain again. Client was super happy with the results.
