Large scale Line Boring and Tapered Boring - Vietnam
Goltens undertook a challenging line boring and tapered boring project on newbuild pipelaying vessel Lewek Constellation in TriYard Shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Goltens removed 36mm of material from the diameter of 8 bearing housings greater than 2M in diameter. The project was completed over 75 days using purpose built tapered boring equipment manufactured by Goltens.
