Austria: Lahn Sattel Mountain Pass Summer Flight (4K, Drone/DJI Avata 360)

Lahnsattel Pass (1,015 m / 3,330 ft) is a scenic mountain pass in the limestone Alps between Styria and Lower Austria. It links the Mariazell region and the Salzatal valley with the Upper Mürz Valley near Mürzzuschlag. The area is known for its heavy snowfall and long history of avalanches. The name Lahnsattel comes from the local dialect word Lahn, meaning an avalanche path. Several deadly avalanches struck the region in the 19th century, including a massive slide in 1878 that destroyed the inn at the summit and claimed 13 lives. No building has stood directly on the pass since. The cemetery visible in this video was established in the 19th century on the initiative of a local schoolteacher. #dronevideo #avata360 #austria #österreich #niederösterreich #steiermark #loweraustria #styria #mountainpass #relaxingmusic
