KEF REFERENCE 105 EVO II: The Legend has evolved again
My beloved KEF 105/1 from 1979 have been evolved again keeping all their essence and raising their performance to the maximum to achieve even better levels of cleanliness, softness and definition. The filters have been improved with respect to the previous EVO I evolution by replacing the Solen capacitors with Mundorf MCap Supreme EVO Aluminum Oil in treble and by Mundorf MCap EVO Aluminum Oil in midrange. The high and mid ferrite coils have been improved with Jantzen Air Core In bass, the Solen capacitors remain but the coils improve by replacing them with Jantzen R-Core. Now there are weeks of tests and measurements left
