How to sample a room and use it as a reverb – Impulse Response Tutorial
In this video I'm turning my kid's room into a reverb I can use in any convolution reverb. This is a quick DIY method that can produce surprisingly good results. I've done this with just an iphone to record with a handclap as the impulse and used it in music projects. I'm using a Zoom H5 with standard XY condenser mics. I'm testing different impulse sources and positions, and different mic positions/distances. Please take note of my mistakes to achieve even better results.
