Perfect Japanese classic for beginners? - 1978 Toyota Celica (A40) XT 2000 Review - Beards n Cars

I've bought another classic! And this time its my first Japanese retro ride in the form of a 1978 Toyota Celica XT2000 Liftback from the RA40 era, complete with a Japan-spec 18R-U 2.0 litre motor, 3 speed auto transmission, and seems to be one of only 3 or so on the road here in the UK! As some will know from the channel already, I've never been particularly into Celica's, but after spotting a couple of these 2nd generation cars for sale on eBay at the same time, I showed them to my girlfriend and she fell in love with this slightly earlier example in black. Fast forward a day or two and here we are with my latest purchase, and one which in my opinion may actually be an ideal first classic for a younger enthusiast driver in particular. With great looks, fun handling, excellent loading space in the back, decent fuel economy (by classic standards at least) ultra low insurance costs, spritely performance and even fairly low prices despite the current climate of high priced classic and Japanese classics on the market in general.
