Everything was going well until my mom was suddenly hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain. The doctors advised immediate admission and performed several tests, including an MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, and endoscopy, to find the exact cause. Our health insurance was initially approved, but after a couple of days, the claim was unexpectedly rejected without a clear explanation. We were repeatedly assured that everything would be settled at the time of discharge and that it would be a cashless process. However, after waiting the entire day and running between the hospital and the insurance office, we had to pay the entire hospital bill ourselves. Even after discharge, we are still waiting for the reimbursement process to be completed. This video is not meant to spread fear but to create awareness.
