I'm back with Mang MJ on a journey through the villages and countryside around West Java. This video feels a little different and quite thrilling. Tonight, I accompanied Mang Wawan to pick up De Silvi from her weekly Quran recitation. The journey to pick up De Silvi wasn't easy, as we had to navigate a fairly desolate road, pass through a large public cemetery, and even through a rarely explored forest. The dark night, coupled with the stories from local residents, sent shivers down our spines. There was even a moment when we felt like someone was following us in the manual brick factory area. After picking up De Silvi, we headed straight to the construction site of her new house. There, loyal volunteers like Mang Sandi, Mang Abud, and Abah Hani are already preparing to work overtime installing ceramic tiles. The community's spirit of mutual cooperation is extraordinary, even though they have to work late into the night.
