It's finally here: the new car wrapping film from 3M. The 3M 2080. The successor to the popular 3M 1080 and 1380. Even better slideability, so ControlTac works brilliantly with the 2080. Air can be perfectly distributed through the microchannels. A minor drawback of the 1080 was that metallic colors, in particular, tended to crack easily. The 3M 2080 is even softer and therefore super comfortable to apply, even when cold. The new Protective Layer works well and keeps fine scratches away from the film surface.
