Cyclone Shaheen strikes parts of Oman and Iran
A rare tropical cyclone has made landfall on the Arabian peninsula, killing at least nine people in Oman and Iran. Cyclone Shaheen hit their coastlines, reaching wind speeds of up to 150 kilometres per hour. Shaheen was downgraded to a tropical storm after reaching Oman but authorities in Muscat are warning of heavy flooding in low-lying areas. Al Jazeera's Andrew Chappelle reports.
