An Award winning actor, in the 90s Grodin's popularity soared for his role as George Newton in the John Hughes comedy franchise "Beethoven." Over his illustrious career, Charles Grodin has been a favorite guest on the talk show circuit dating back to his numerous appearances with Johnny Carson. Grodin is currently celebrating the release of his new DVD titled: "The Perils of Show Business: Proceed At Your Own Risk." In the DVD Grodin offers advice to actors aspiring for a career in show business. Besides his accomplished work on stage and screen, Grodin is also an author of several successful books - he is one of the best storytellers around. Additionally, several years ago he started a charitable organization called "The Lend a Hand Foundation." It's mission is to help people in dire need.
