But the project did not go exactly as planned. The skid steer got stuck, equipment problems slowed us down, and then a heavy rain tested the repairs before the restoration was finished.By the end, water started cutting back over the repaired area—which means Part 2 is going to be interesting.This is only the beginning. The pond still needs more levee work, spillway cleanup, fish habitat, and eventually catfish.
