You Never Can Tell - Cajun-style rocker by R.Cajun & The Zydeco Bros.

It wasn’t difficult to come up with a Cajun arrangement of this classic Chuck Berry rocker, as Mr Berry was more than halfway there with its setting, storyline, bits of French and typical two-chord structure. First released in 1964, the song had a notable revival thirty years later, of course, in Tarantino’s marvellous ‘Pulp Fiction’, with John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing their memorable twist. This was the prompt for RCZB to adopt the song and record it on their album 'That Cajun Thing!’ that same year, 1994. Thanks to Jan Hall for providing many of the band photos used in this video.
