Aksaray’da yol ortasındaki camisiz minare şaşırtıyor

After the demolition of its mosque in Aksaray, a minaret left in the middle of the road to serve both as a visual aid and as an intersection is striking in its appearance. The Paşalar Mosque in the Çankaya neighborhood of Aksaray's Ortaköy district, built in 1956 and where the community prayed for 59 years until 2015, was moved and demolished by the municipality for road construction after a new mosque was built in the neighborhood in 2015. Following the demolition, the minaret was left behind to serve both as a visual aid and as a crossing point at the intersection connecting four roads in the neighborhood.
