SPICY FRIED SLICED DILL PICKLE RECIPE 2 cup dill pickles, sliced and well drained 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 2 tablespoons hot sauce 1 cup self-rising flour 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, optional 2 cup oil for frying 1. In a large mixing bowl with tight fitting lid or plastic/paper bag add all-purpose flour and sliced pickles. Toss until pickles are well coated with flour. Set aside. 2. In a bowl or baking pan add milk, egg and hot sauce. Whisk with fork. Set aside. 3. Add self-rising flour with salt and pepper into container with sides. 4. Remove pickles from flour, gently shake off access flour. Roll coated sliced pickles in egg mixture, then roll in self-rising flour mixture. 5. Preheat oil, in skillet or heavy pan, over medium heat or until oil reaches 360-370 degrees F. 6. Add coated pickles to heated oil, making sure not to over crowd, and fry for 45 seconds on each side or until golden. Remove fried pickles and drain on paper towel or cooling racks. Recipe for Dipping Sauce 3 tablespoon mayo 1 tablespoon hot sauce Whisk well. Serve with fry pickles!! ENJOY!!! -Deronda :)
