My first time painting with pastel acrylic paints | A Sketchbook Practice
I shift into my sketchbook to explore layering with a new set of pastel acrylic paints. I take my time building colour and form across the pages, letting each layer guide the next. As the spreads develop, I begin adding mark making to bring everything together and give the pages a sense of rhythm and finish. This video is about experimentation, small decisions, and seeing how new colour behave through layering. If you enjoy watching sketchbook processes, testing new materials, and seeing how marks slowly bring a page to life, I hope you'll enjoy following along.
