We Brought These Nike SB Dunks Back from the Dead

The Grateful Dead Dunks are one of the most out-there designs that Nike has come up with in recent memory. Between the bright colors and bearlike faux-fur uppers, the Grateful Dead Nike Dunk Low is sure to turn heads. And we haven’t even touched on the price tag yet. We bought this pair of the green Grateful Dead Dunks for around 1k…but new pairs are fetching 1.5k from sneakerheads and Grateful Dead enthusiasts alike. With a shoe this pricey, we can’t afford to mess up this cleaning. Jonny is going to be throwing all of the stops at this beat pair of Grateful Dead Dunks with the RESHOEVN8R Deep Clean Signature Bundle. If there’s one thing you can take away from today’s deep cleaning of the Grateful Dead Nike Dunk Low, it’s that RESHOEVN8R is versatile enough to clean any material. Jonny started off by removing the shoelaces and inserting the Adjustable Shoe Tree. Before introducing RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Cleaning Solution into the mix, he used the Dry Suede Kit to erase some of the stains from the suede, and the brush to get rid of the loose dirt and sediment. Now we can turn this cleaning over to our RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Cleaning Solution. Jonny used the Soft Bristle Brush to clean the uppers, the Medium Bristle Brush to clean the midsole, and the Stiff Bristle Brush to scrub the outsole. The Grateful Dead Dunks look pretty clean now, but the suede is crunchy because of our cleaning process. Luckily the RESHOEVN8R Brass Bristle Brush is the perfect tool to reset the nap on suede. Jonny brushed the suede back and forth for a good while with the Brass Bristle Brush until the suede was buttery soft. Sometimes when you’re working with suede it can start to fade or lose its color. That’s why we made RESHOEVN8R Mink Oil. Jonny sprayed a liberal coat of Mink Oil directly onto the suede and used the RESHOEVN8R Horsehair Brush to rub it throughout the material.
