Adding internal cables to my steel mountain bike frame
In this one, I show you how I modified my Kona steel mountain bike frame to run internal cables and hoses. I grind off the original cable mounts, I cut slots in the down tube for cable routing, and I make new grommets to hold everything in place. I talk about stresses on the frame and discuss whether I've weakend it or not. It turns out great. Link to the research paper mentioned in the video: https://www.researchgate.net/publicat...
