Can I Make 8-Bit Music Sound Real? (Live Experiment)

Today I'm starting something new — converting retro game music from 8-bit game music to a more realistic-sounding instruments. For this first stream, I'm tackling the original Final Fantasy 1 soundtrack. I've never done this before, so we're figuring it out together. The goal is to take those iconic NES melodies and make them sound like they were recorded by real instruments. No idea how hard this will be.
