Correct exposure isn't just a technical matter, but the result of a conscious approach, which begins even before pressing the shutter button. With the spread of electronic viewfinders and LCD displays, many photographers blindly rely on what they see in real time, forgetting that these tools, if misinterpreted, can be misleading. The risk? Over- or underexposed shots, with dark blacks or blown highlights, which they then try to "save" in post-production—often with disappointing results. In this video, I'll share my approach to exposure, developed through years of experience in the field: from scene analysis to conscious contrast management, including the effective use of the histogram and color profiles. We'll show you how to achieve well-balanced images right from the start, reducing post-production work and achieving a more natural, consistent, and professional result.
