Opportunities in the Ethiopian Logistics Sector - Webinar - June 2022

The transport and logistic sector will play a vital role in reaching this goal, since no economic development can be envisaged without transportation. With the movement of people and the flow of goods, this sector is considered a catalyst for growth. In 2021, The Ministry of Transport and Logistics presented an ambitious ten-year development plan, in which the private sector will play an important role. Different investment potentials are identified, of which multi-model transport, freight forwarding, and cold logistics are worth mentioning. TRAIDE has identified this sector as promising and is sure that it can provide a number of opportunities for Dutch businesses and organizations. For this reason, TRAIDE hosted a webinar on Thursday June 2nd at 10:00 CEST/11:00 EAT. During the webinar, transportation challenges, trends, and developments from the public and private sector are discussed by Dutch and local entrepreneurs that are active in Ethiopia.
