⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Belgrade’s CREEPY Railway | Exploring the BGVoz Suburban Train System

Step aboard Belgrade’s BGVoz suburban railway system, which operates an S-Bahn style service throughout the city. Linking central Belgrade with the suburbs and nearby towns, BGVoz is essential for daily commuters, but much of the system is in poor condition, creating a fascinating, gritty atmosphere! The BGVoz system uses ŽS Class 412 EMUs: Soviet-designed electric multiple units built in the 1980s and originally delivered to the Yugoslavian Railway system. These trains have deteriorated quite a lot, and are rickety, dimly lit inside, and often covered in graffiti. Interiors can feel dark and dated, with rattling fittings and worn seats giving them an unmistakably eerie vibe. Despite refurbishments, they’re a far cry from modern standards. That said, they have a ton of character and are a lot of fun to ride! In this video, we comprehensively explore the BGVoz system to capture this fascinating system! Enjoy!
