Space Marine 2: Auto Bolt Carbine CQC Sniper Build - True Solo Weekly Hard Stratagem 40

Battlefield Conditions: Intelligence Lapse: The enemy faction that does not usually appear spawns instead. Imperial Fervor: "For the Emperor" shout increases Damage dealt for a short time. Warp Storm: A psychic storm periodically hits. Posthumous Proliferation: Slain enemies spawn Spores or Chaos Skulls (depending on faction). Pretty simple weekly without anything crazy going on. We just have to deal with the annoying Posthumous Proliferation condition. Thankfully it only triggers on Majoris+, but it is still a pain. Either you pick a build that can basically ignore the skulls, or you have to wait and clear out each corpse one by one. Killing multiple enemies in quick succession can also let you skip dealing with the skulls from all except the last kill since you can just tank through them with the execution. I like the Tyranid version of this modifier better because killing a single Majoris takes care of all the Spore Mines, and they can also damage enemies. Imperial Fervor gives +50% additive damage. It affects guns, melee, and equipment. The equipment buff is really useful if you find Krak grenades because a single Krak does not incapacitate a Sorcerer in hard strats because of the -15% damage dealt debuff (these massive breakpoint changes are just another reason the hidden debuff is dumb). As long as you emote you'll be back to oneshotting them. Unfortunately I found no useful equipment at all until the very end of the run so things went a bit slow. Melta Bomb, Pyreblaster Canister, or even just Shock Grenades would have made clearing the packs of Majoris so much faster. For the build it is just the good old auto Bolt Carbine Sniper. Purification giving on-demand heals means we can mostly not care about randomly taking damage from the skulls. Quick summary: Cloak buff for firearms lasts 0.36s after pulling the trigger or having cloak deactivate. Lingering Concealment adds 2s of cloak duration. For most weapons this just gives you 2 extra seconds to use the damage buff since it only lasts for a single pull of the trigger. However, with the auto Bolt Carbine we can hold down the trigger and keep shooting, gaining the damage buff for a full 2.36s. Importantly, the trigger must be held down. The buff will end the instant the trigger is released. We also don't want to melee cancel all the time. Previously I had thought that melee cancel didn't have any effects on using your cloak firearm damage buff. However I was testing with a sniper rifle, and this is only true for the non-automatic weapons. On the auto Bolt Carbine, the melee swing eats into our 2s of added cloak duration, so we will only get 2.36s minus the duration of the melee swing. This build was already good before I was playing around this interaction, and when we abuse it the build is even stronger. In the past I would often stop firing after incapacitating an enemy or losing the ability to shoot the head, but now knowing that we're getting Targeted Shot for a full 2.36s if we just keep shooting I just hold the trigger down. Any Majoris or Extremis is easily incapacitated before cloak expires, even with the -15% damage debuff in hard strats. The one change from what I normally use is taking Precision Targeting instead of Squad Renewal. The auto Bolt Carbine's hipfire is incredible with Honed Precision, but when we're holding down the trigger for over 2s even this gun needs some extra help. The additional 25% spread reduction makes a big difference when firing continuously like this. Losing the CDR from Squad Renewal really does suck though, especially because melee cancelling costs you some damage.
