Today we're watching the first Narnia movie, AKA The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe! Though I personally don't think that title is long enough, we're gonna take a look at why this movie had it's 15 minutes of fame before disappearing from the cultural zeitgeist of the 2000s. Did it actually have the bones to compete with huge franchises like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter? Or will it be remembered as more of a flop than J. K. Rowling's reputation? One day Lucy (Georgie Henley) finds a wardrobe that transports her to a magical world called Narnia.
