Alice Waters: slow food and the Edible Schoolyard Project [HD] Life Matters, ABC RN

Alice Waters has been at the forefront of the 'slow food' movement for decades. Her restaurant, Chez Panisse in Berkley, California, was amongst the first to place a special emphasis on local, seasonal and organic produce. Since opening Chez Panisse in 1971, Alice Waters has become a prominent advocate and educator, who started the highly successful Edible Schoolyard Project in the mid-1990s.
