This summer, I went on a trip to Nara. It happened to be during the Lantern Festival, and I got to fully experience the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival. With the deer and lanterns together, the scene felt sacred, and it reminded me of a scene from the movie Tangled. The next day, I visited Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Since it was raining, the atmosphere was even more charming. It also brought back memories from my childhood. I also got to fully rest and relax at the beautiful Hotel Shisui, which was designed by Kengo Kuma. The hotel perfectly blends tradition and modernity, and I was able to enjoy the onsen as well.
